Dear writers, At the Undiscovered Journal, we are seeking to create a repository of good writing for fiction in India. We suspect that many of our writers of short fiction are lurking in the shadows of the novel, or simply trying to survive by clinging to a screenplay or, not to mention, have been elbowed out by non fiction. We hope to create an immense oeuvre for Indian short fiction. It would be an honour to be able to launch the first edition of the journal with your contribution to either short stories or poetry, or both. The stories you now see on the site will be replaced by your submissions for the first edition of Undiscovered Journal. Originally written by a 19-year-old, more than a decade ago, these stories have never been published but they are being used now to show you how your own work will be displayed on the website when we launch on October 1, 2023. In the process of writing for us, I hope that you will eventually find here, a reading list of your choice. Looking forward to our discoveries,
